whats getting me is remembering under the stands at murrayfield ... and that was just a league game! can you imagine what it'd be like if we won a semi final against them?! mayhem will ensue!

I am not nervous at all. I have a feeling we may win it but if we don't then we will have over achieved given we started from 6th so we have already done better than I expected which puts me in a frame of mind that says we have nothing to lose. If we lose it's expected ,if we win great. Nothing to be nervous of.



Now if we do win, ask me the same question on Sunday!

Strangely, I don't feel nervous. And I'm not sure whether that is a good thing or not.



I wouldn't say I'm confident, but there can be no doubt that Wigan will be more motivated for this match than any other they've played in modern times. They'd have to be a team of blockheads not to realise that this could be a major event in all their sporting careers.



They must also feel, after toughing out two challenging play-off matches, that they have the tools to do the job. Saints may have underperformed in recent weeks, but there's more evidence than mere results to suggest that they're not quite the team they were. I also feel that Long's decision to spend the afternoon book-signing rather than preparing for the match is indicative of one of two things (or maybe both): he's not too concerned about this fixture, or Potter hasn't got the dressing room.



If Wigan lose this match, it won't totally surprise me - it's still a tough ask. But I will be surprised if they get hammered - there is every reason for Wigan to give it their best shot ever, and no reason for the sort of oveconfidence that saw us flunk the CC semi.
