I’m not really sure how I have argued differently before, I can’t recall I have ever said vaccines don’t work and my stance has always been I don’t think the vaccine is right for everyone. However, to be clear I have never once suggested to anyone to not get the vaccine as that would be hypocritical of me to do so.
Regarding employers mandating whether that’s NHS, corporate firms or Wigan Warriors I again don’t agree with that and is my opinion.'"
Your opinion is wrong then. For far too long now (& across all walks of life and not just covid), we've put too much emphasis on not upsetting peoples opinions, no matter how stupid they are or how much of a danger they are.
Apart from if the vaccine was to cause you serious harm, what good reason is there not to have it and why should it be left to individuals to make the decision?
There's loads of examples in life where personal choice is taken away, simply because it's what's best for the individual and society. You have to to school, you can't drink and drive, you can't legally do drugs, you can't do certain jobs without qualifications - all of them + more take away the choice of a person to do what they want. Why?
This vaccine helps fight COViD. A disease that's ravaged through every part of society, across the world. Deaths, job losses, isolation, education, sport etc all paying the price. Quite simply - everyone should be forced to have the vaccine as it helps reduce the impact of the disease. It really is that simple. You'd think after 2 years of upheaval it would be clear as day, but no there's always someone who bleats on about their rights or plays the victim card.

Not sure how an opinion can be wrong it’s an opinion not factual.
However, to elaborate on what you say and the loads of examples where personal choice is taken away I will say you are wrong.
Going to school - You don’t have to ‘go’ to school there is no law to enforce that
Drink and drive - Whilst it’s against the law to drive above the legal limit people can and do decide to do that. No way am I condoning it
Taking drugs - Again against the law but people choose to do so, also what is illegal in the UK is legal in other countries
Jobs without qualifications? Fair enough but slightly different to putting something in your body as a person picking a career has endless other opportunities whereas, someone being forced to to have a vaccine they don’t want doesn’t.
By the way please show me where I have ‘played’ the victim card.

| There are definitely laws about going to school.
Just to throw it out there....
In certain professions you need to undergo regular medicals in order to remain in employment. Perhaps we should do away with them because someone may wish to eat a chippy tea 7 days a week?

You have a special talent for not answering questions...
What possible reason (apart from threat to your life) is there not to make everyone have the vaccine?
Of course an opinion can be wrong btw and that's exactly what's wrong with society. You can have an opinion that the earth is flat, doesn't mean it's correct and that you shouldn't be told that in unequivocal terms. Even if that upsets sensitivities.
Every anti vax person is playing the victim card. The "my choice", "my body my rights" BS that keeps getting spouted. It's selfishness of the highest order.

He's being pedantic (who'd have thought it). You need to be in education from the age of 5. You don't need to "go" to a school for it.
Sums up the whole argument and moving goal posts to suit a small section of a narrative.

Apologies, I didn’t answer that question I missed it but here you go.
Caught covid, recovered and have natural immunity
Don’t know for sure that it won’t cause serious harm and then too late
No accountability on any of the companies whilst it is being trialled
Not enough research on children/babies
Please show me where I have said I am a victim, I just believe in pro choice.
I will go back a few pages where I said it’s clear people on here are wanting vaccine mandate and was called out and said that wasn’t true…

So more conspiracy theories then. Gov's around the world haven't just winged it and thought "nah, doesn't matter about making sure it's safe. Let's just give it to everyone".
Is the last sentence a wind up? Jukes clearly says 99% haven't called for mandated vaccines. I'm calling for it, others aren't.

The question now seems to be about Mandates etc.
99% seem to be in agreement that they shouldn't be mandated
In relation to this there are now multiple people calling for it

The law states that parents have to provide their children with an education. Is as grey e as that. Can be school, home school, online, whatever. As long as you can evidence you are providing an education it’s very flexible.

There is a difference between a full mandate for the whole country, and individual business/company mandates etc.
What I meant was that 99% are in agreement that a nationwide mandate isn't correct
The split/slightly bigger disagreement is over whether individual organisations/businesses etc should be able to employ or not based on vaccine status and/ or dismiss their own employ people based on this.
It seems quite common that words/statements are twisted when 99% know what is meant by them
Another one is in reply to vaccines work, you get a reply of "it doesn't stop everyone dying". Not it doesn't, but the point is it stops 10/20/30 whatever the times of people from dyiing, so you get the point.
Same with catching it/transmitting it, because it isn't 100% then people pick holes in the argument and say " it doesn't stop you getting it or passing it on" when even if it doesn't, it vastly decreases the likelihood of getting or spreading it so it works.
Now we have people saying you "Don't gave to go to school".
Christ, we all know kW what is meant by the statement, and the aim of being pedantic, deflect, distracted is to give a perception that there is dou t etc and then the whole.conspiracy (it's just a different opinion ) starts.
I'd love to have been the head of that hospital who was "Served papers" by the anti vax mob quoting "Plandemic" and nuremberg crimes blah blah blah BS BS BS
https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.inde ... 17a9%3famp
I'd have dropped em straight in the bin, called security, and laughed my head off at them
The only bright side is Americas about 10 x times worse, my only.concern is that we usually catch up about 10/15 years later after the barmpots over there.

Your quite within your right not to go
But you need to decide if your against having things rammed down your throat at a rugby game because you don't agree with them or Because people shouldn't be ramming anything other than the rugby down your throat.
If it's the latter, then I suppose you want Wigan & The stadium owners not to advertise, not to associate with any other sponsors, not to have Armed forces day or Mental Health awareness rounds because you know what? It should only be about the Rugby
If it's the former - Then well I'm afraid were going to have to disagree then. Because each company, each individual has the right to express their views and be behind any Charities, Awareness days or causes of injustice they choose to, as you have the right not to.
Always seems strange to me that people who are so for people's Individual rights, Freedom of speech, right to choose etc. aren't so happy when others use those rights to express different opinions, thoughts etc.
Your championing a player who, quite rightly, has the right not to vaccinate himself and as per the previous post saying he should be made a leader, a role model etc. and saying he shouldn't have to pay any consequence for those beliefs
Yet, people who have/are suffering consequences of something they have no ability to change (They shouldn't have to) you don't want them highlighting those injustices/experiences and/or celebrating those differences so that others who may be scared to, are encouraged to be able to be themselves naturally without being discriminated.

The funny thing is, the 1 player who hasn't been jabbed we don't know their identity, I couldn't care less which player it is eithet but I'm glad that they are brave enough to not have it. I don't think we should have a parade and flags for people twho haven't had the jab. No because nobody gives a toss, their medical history/choices should be private just like their sexual preference.
If a player came out as gay I'd say that was Captain material also they'd get my full support, if they started pushing their sexuality in peoples faces and using the club as a platform to push the issue then I wouldn't. If the unvaxxed player starts posting stuff about not having the jab, or going on marches against the jab in Wigan colours, or demonstrating their objection to the jab in try celebrations then I'm against that.

Let me get this straight. You are attempting to compare the "struggle" of people who made the choice to be unvaccinated and have some people disagree with there choices (it's worth pointing out the people who seem to be the most vocal about this issue and most judgemental and name call the other side are the unvaccinated).
You are attempting to compare that to hundreds of years of history where people had to hide there sexuality for fear of persecution, ridicule, horrific acts such as beatings and chemical castration? All for who they were attracted to and something they had no real choice in?
Not comparable at all. Not even in the same league.

You are attempting to compare that to hundreds of years of history where people had to hide there sexuality for fear of persecution, ridicule, horrific acts such as beatings and chemical castration? All for who they were attracted to and something they had no real choice in?
Not comparable at all. Not even in the same league.'"
Not comparable historically I agree, but nowadays polar opposite.
Players are not banned from playing for being gay, but are for being unvaccinated.
NHS workers won't lose their jobs for being gay, but will for being unvaccinated.
You can travel to Austria if you are gay, but can't if unvaccinated.
There are laws to protect you from discrimination if you're gay, there aren't if you're unvaccinated.
