Should have played tonight for me, Mossop would have been fine on the bench to replace Hughes in the 2nd row, most effective player in the first half besides Sinfield was Peacock, a guy who steps it up when it matters,Stuart Fielden is in the same mould.

Unlike Lima when it gets nasty he hides.

He would've been completely ineffective.



We needed a playmaker with pace or a match-winner. Oh wait...

I dont know, since Lima announced he was leaving he hasnt done a great deal and his form is way below what it was earlier in the season. Generally the way our pack has been dominated in the big games is the biggest worry for me and it is an area where we must strengthen.

First half performance would have been a damn site better with him in the pack, the Leeds pack were all over us. Eric was the best forward for us in the half and he only played 20 minutes of it. This is where we come up short when we have to try and outgun the packs of Leeds and Warrington for that matter.

Lima went missing tonight and Mossop for that matter, were you watching the same game?

Hansen was awesome and Benny Flower did well. Can't say I noticed Lauaki much apart from maybe 1 good run in the second half.

As have most of the pack in every big game this year. Leeds in the CC semi, again tonight, the games against Warrington, we have been outmuscled and dominated up front. Without the pack laying the foundations you cannot win the big games.

What scares me is that the pack is suppose to be Shaun Wane department, being second best to the likes of Leeds and Warrington in the pack is what hurts most.

Fielden should of played every game end of. He is a proven player with heaps of experience. SW HAD to give him the rest of the seasons games if only to prove himself and show his worth for next year since we are losing Lima. Speaking of which Lima was very poor and offered nothing, mossop likewise bar one or two half decent runs in the second half. I agree with an earlier post that lauaki was our best prop by quite some distance. IMO he is very under rated.

Shaun wane was never a great player himself and was dropped by John Monie when he came over so I wouldn't rely too much on his judgement of props!
