when noble says it's encouraging that we managed to catch the ball 3 times out of ten, is when i wonder if i could have spent my £200 on something better, if you'd turn out a team of under 11s they can at least do the basics rather than some should be retired foriegner letting players just push past him and score.
my mate stu says mathers, noble and smith should be stripped to the waist whipped then paraded around the ground whilst all the real fans boo them.
i don't think he goes far enough i think birching should be dished out on the pitch!!!'"

let me first say i have been watching wigan over 50 yrs and never boo them,always stand up and applaud the team,after all they are my team.in todays wigan observer ian lennigan is having a go at the boo boys,well he should understand that this is a free country and everyone is allowed their own opinion.don't forget we pay to watch the game,he also says the fans should get behind the team.well IL you have 10k season ticket holders plus the weekly support does that not proove we support our team even though they have not given us much reason over the last few years.i think IL is a little self opinionated and it would do him good if he took a realistic view of what is going on.last season IL was at loggerheads with some of the players trent barrett in particular.he actually made his views public,so it is ok for him to do it but not the supporters,that to me seems a little two faced.

I remember when we played Leeds and St.Helens and the 70-0 and 75-0 results... and I dont recall any booing for either of those matches. It's a fairly recent thing, in the past two seasons or so. If things aren't exactly going our way, the majority boo, only to start jumping up and down wetting themselves when things do go our way.
