| I wouldn't be too disappointed if we were to let Pryce go. I'd say he's been fairly solid, but we have better players in his position.

| I dont think Pryce is a rugby player. He is simply a big lad with bags of unfufilled potential
Sadly i dont think he will ever reach his potential, thats why i think we should let him go

| Josh Charnley played very good yesterday a Salford he scored a try and took Salford on at speed and his defence excellent.
Why was Marsh or Pryce picked instead of Charnley i dont no seeing Charnley has played 5 Super League games and has scored in 3 of the games ????

Hodgson the best finisher in the game?
The cover tackles Pryce had to make were because he was caught out of position. He shouldn't have had to make them in the first place and it put unnecessary pressure on the side & gave Huddersfield great field position.

| Quote lilylaner="lilylaner"Just one question -why is Charnley still at at HKR when we were so woefully weak in the centre positions yesterday?'"
Not a clue. I vociferously supported bringing Josh Charnley back into the side. He would have played at centre for me instead of Marsh (not hindsight I said this before a ball had been kicked).
Next week Josh Charnley plays for me. If Goulding is back he comes back in place of Pryce and Charnley plays instead of Marsh. If Goulding is still injured then I would bring Josh Charnley on the wing.

| I've just watched the game again.
The ONLY pass Pryce got on when he was in the wing position was that shocker when he kicked the ball.
He actually saved three tries.
Now I've never said he is the best winger at Wigan but some of the criticism he has got from Sundays game beggars belief.

The biggest criticism from me would be that he never gets into acting half to give the forwards a break when coming off your own line.
Surely its time to put the "long-term" project to bed and move on - waste of a fair chunk of salary cap.

Watch the game again, he actually takes it in as many times if not more than Pat Richards in that game, and that's another reason I don't understand Sundays criticism.
I am led to believe he is not on big money at Wigan, but has been offered a two year deal at Bradford.
I guess it's a case of wait and see.

| Just to play devil's advocate I noticed a piece of play that warrants criticism of Pryce when I watched it again.
Watch the build up to Luke Robinson's try. Pryce initially tracks back but watch his movement/attitude when a Huddersfield pass goes to ground. He continues to slow down moving past the Wigan try line with his back to the play obviously believing the danger had gone thus finding himself well out of position (too deep and too central) to defend Robinson's later run.
A more focused player may well have prevented that try.

He chased the ball from Hodgsons inside kick. Maybe if he hadn't been so enthusiastic and stayed on his wing he would have been in position to make the tackle.
BTW he did get back and make the tackle on Robinson but was a fraction late.
And then you can argue that Richards made the wrong decision for Cudjoes first try, and certainly Deacon did for the last one.

| 38 seconds into the game - Huddersfield target Pryce. The kick bounces unfavourably.
2:39 - Danny Brough kicks behind Pryce and gains good field position.
3:40 - Stefan Marsh steps back and spins in the tackle in a fantastic run. Could have passed to Pryce twice but didn't. In fairness to dodgy Hodgy he wasn't sucked in which put the element of doubt into Marsh's mind.
4:50 - Pryce plucks the ball out the air and scores.
So far up to the 12 minute mark - Andy Coley, Stuart Fielden, Harrison Hansen and Sean O'loughlin have all made errors in the Huddersfield half.
13 minute mark - good Huddersfield kick behind the line, hacked forward past Tomkins, but Pryce covers.
15:00 - Tomkins break - Brown obstructs - ten minutes.
15:35 - Fielden v Mason fight - ten minutes for both
16:31 - Poor Tomkins offload finds marsh and he throws a poor pass which is picked up by the Huddersfield player.
16:37 - Seen the 'Sam Tomkins stamp'. Never was in a million years. His head is looking at the player. A ridiculous accusation.
16:54 - Not square at the POTB Sam Tomkins (Huddersfield penalty)
18:01 - Brough kicks early, but silly kick as Pat Richards easily collects.
18:43 - Sean O'loughlin 'knock on'. Replays show Fa'alago rips it out.
19:57 - Karl Pryce caught out of position - however brings Hodgson into touch. A great tackle.
21:11- Fantastic break down the middle from Joel Tomkins. Deacon in support, but too slow. Passes to Stefan Marsh whose hit hard and knocks on. In fairness to Marsh it was a poor pass.
21:44 - penatly to Huddersfield - Harrison Hansen High tackle.
22:55 - Knock on from Graham Horne. HH gets a hand in.
29:35 - Knock on from Sean O'loughlin close to the Huddersfield line.
32/33 minute mark - Great play from Huddersfield. Chip on the last, Richards has dropped back which has allowed Cudjoe to break down the middle. Passes to Robinson whose collered by Pryce, but gets the ball to Hodgson who kicks behind Leuluai, but knocks on.
35th Minute - Joel Tomkins scores from a Pat Richards hand back.
37:15 - Liam Farrell knocks on in our own half. (Wigan have so far made nine handling errors).
37:49 - Stefan Marsh gives a penalty for interference on Eorl Crabtree. Poor decision, Crabtree just fell over.
38:09 - Short ball from Robinson is spilled by Shaun Lunt after a great shot from Hansen.
39:05 - Brilliant offload from Fielden sends Tomkins away. Beats around four defenders before tackled on the halfway line.
39:29 - break from Leuluai who tries to offload to Liam Farrell, but Kevin Brown fingertips it back to Brett Hodgson. Another chance gone begging.
Half Time
Wigan have a 59% completion rate. Have made 10 handling errors, but have also made 10 clean breaks! Whereas Huddersfield have not made a single break.
