| There must be some kind of mistake, as I was reliably informed by the bloke standing behind me at Trinity (Mr Bennett of the Wigan postal service I think he has been identified as) that Bentham the day prior to the Leeds game sent Shawn Wane a text saying that there is no way Wigan would get to Wembley and he would make sure of this.
According to said gobe Bentham is under investigation and is going to be banned from the game for 5 years, so not to worry all, I am sure it is just an administration error on the part of the RFL and a different ref will be selected come Sunday.  |

I was stood behind him at Cas and he was proudly saying that Lenegan had told him that if we dont win something this year then Maguire is out the door  The same Lenegan who didnt sack Brian Noble after years of nothing. |

Where is Bentham from?
For anybody to suggest that the reason we lost those 3 games is because of him is a disgrace. We were in a position to win all 3 games and blew it. A few calls went against us in the Leeds game but I'm sure we will win a game due to some bad calls later in the season. We have not had the luck on our side so far this season though. The only luck we have had IMO is when Briers went off in the wire game away.

He seems to penalise us none stop for the first 20 mins, thereby killing any momentum we would like to build. It's up to the players to sort themselves out in this early period and cut out any excuse for a penalty. (I know it's easier said than done in a derby game)
