Spot on mate....and telling a ref that their decision is B S should be a Sending off Offence and a ban IMO....complete lack of disrespect and if that isnt bringing the game into disrepute i dont know what is! Cant beleive the relaxed response on here tbh. We pride ourselfs on being a family game and then get a player responding to the referree like this....and worse still fans thinking its acceptable!'"
Could it be a "generation" thing ?
Older fans (self included) would probably not accept any 'backchat' and certainly no swearing to the ref.
The younger generation may think differently.
Is it a reflection of society where swearing and disregard for 'authority' are commonplace among younger people in their teens & twenties (same age as the players !) ? |

Does it bloody hell deserve a ban! 10minutes maybe but not a ban. Get a grip lad.
Have you ever played RL at amateur or any level?
The reason I ask is because if you have/do, you will understand that in certain circumstances and at certain times players do shout out like that in the heat of the moment! Frustration at themselves, frustration at the match generally causes it.
Get a grip mate. A ban for one swear word is ridiculous! |

Theres a reason for that.
It's a shame that leeds seem to use a spoiling tactics. Yes of course all clubs do it but leeds seem to be a lot more consistent with it, and seem to get away with it so much. lying on and messing about at the play the ball..... oh and they seem to get off with the odd forward pass to, but the ref was a bit more consistant and for once didnt let leeds get away with as much last night. stop leeds spoiling tactics, and you stop leeds alltogether... which i think was shown yesterday. |
