I walked up this bugger a few weeks ago, as a complete novice it was a 'ba$tard' to complete (even though my 7 and 5 yr olds thought it was easy)!!



The first team running up this would sort out the wheat from the chaff..!!

Never mind Lanzarote!

Lanzarote? When I was a lad there were 25 of us training in a rolled-up newspaper in a sceptic tank! Every day Dad would make us lick road clean wit' tongue.....

When I was training I had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night half an hour before I went to bed, drink a cup of sulphuric acid, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad and our mother would kill us and dance about on our graves singing Hallelujah.

And you tell that to the kids of today and they dont believe you.

I was told this weeks pre season is voluntary thats why there might not be many.



Also Lanzarote was good in Rads book he said it was hard work we played well in those days its just recently its not been run right from the management as Rads said Monie flogged them over there.

That was last week and quite a few turned in I believe.



This week is proper pre season training and they all had to turn in.

you sure, a friend of Fielden said he turned up today for voluntary?....the head coach only just landed so it seems odd.

I read in the papers last week that Coley and O'Loughlin had turned in for voluntary training aswell as a few others and then the proper stuff was starting yesterday.



I know somebody on here mentioned about Fielden having an op during the off season so maybe he'd been given extra time off but has decided to turn it down.

Last week the reserves started training and was voluntary for the first team.



This week it's the real start for everyone except those who have been on International duties.
