I don't believe the local sponsors of Catalan Dragons will be happy about the move. Wigan is one of their biggest games particularly from the traveling support p.o.v.



They will not want to lose that revenue in Perpignan itself.



I believe from talking to a couple of sponsors that Wigan and Warrington take the largest following over there.

Thats exactly why Warrington were chosen for Barca last year and exactly why Wigan will be chosen this year for a game elsewhere.

I'd have preferred Montpelier, but I've booked everything for Perpignan (Flights/accomodation), we have 7am flight Mon so I 100% don't want it moved.



If they'd have told us they were still considering moving the game when releasing fixtures then many of us would never have booked Perpignan, I hope their mistakes don't cost me money.



Edit:- Actually just checked and it's 11am flight monday monring. It'll be interesting to see if the catalans offer free transport and other forms of compensation.

I really hope they don't change it. For 16 of us the transport is booked to fly into Barcelona on the 3rd, non-refundable deposits are paid for the accommodation and non of us fancy travelling for pretty much the first two days of the holiday. Please don't change it!

It stories like that which makes me hope they don't bother changing it.



Unless they're willing to cover a full refund for anybody who's already shelled out cash for travel/accomodation etc.

E-mail the club with your worries..its situations like this the club want to know about.

Whatever they decide no doubt we will all still go to the match, it would just be a nightmare for us if it was moved.

The club care about what the fans think. If they saw there was many people already booked then I am sure they would not move it. If they could fund transport for a small amount of people then I think they will go ahead with the move.



Personally, I don't care if they move the game, for RL I hoep they do.

%100 agree, I have got flights and hotels booked for two of us, already paid £250 deposit, when will these clubs realise you can not treat people like this.

Everyone knows it is not cheap to get to Perpignan and you get the best prices by booking early, you only have to look at prices now on the Monday BMI flight back to M/cr from Perps.

I hope the club listen to our views and tell Catalans yes we will play at Montpellier but in 2011 !

Who is going to reimburse me if the game moves !!!!!!!!!!!
