Heard we playing catalan game here next year, anyone any idea of what this place is like, its 2hrs from Perpignan and has its own airport, thats all i know

we changed trains there last year, when we walked out of the station it was busy as anywhere iv'e seen. first thing we were met with was police with machine guns, then macdonalds directly across the road thats all we saw.

Had to go there last year to the Consulate, its big, so lots of accommodation. Unlike Perps, not one main central drinking area, but there are a few squares and parks that look OK, I am sure we could sort something out.
On the plus it was cheaper than Perprs, probably due to more bars.
No idea if the ground is on the tram line, but it did make getting round the place easy.
Would prefer Barca, but a change from Perps would be good.

I have been told that we can expect a June fixture away at Catalan, but as rightly mentioned the game will be played away from Perpignan, and about time too! 
Hotels seems much easier to come by in MP, you have the standard Ibis and Mercure hotels like Perpignan www.accorhotels.com/accorhotels/ ... hotel=1391
Flights will be slightly more difficult, unlike Perpignan you have the option to fly into Gerona which was much more cost effective and easy to get to from the Northern airports.
