Players:
We will need to drop 2 from our overseas quota next year (unless the goalposts move)
Offiah is a manipulitive who was very responsible for the change in attitude of Worlord (bulls love him) and Sheriffe.
We are doing our best to sign our younger players for 3 years.
We have a crop of youngsters due off the conveyer belt in 3 or 4 years who are bigger and better than Clubb and LMS
Danny Orr is fir for Wakey game.
Non-Players
Paul seems to be forging a relationship with Evans.
As a result of this, we will be tapping into their fan-base with his endorsement.
David Hughes admitted we may have got the marketing wrong in the past
Various games are being targeted including the welsh.
It would seem that Hoggs idea of ignoring the lesser games has been changed to targeting these games (and I have to say I TOLD YOU AT THE TIME THAT IT WAS A STUPID IDEA WHEN HE SAID IT AT THE FORUM)
Bradford game on Friday before CC would be great according to us, the RFL but not Skolars. David Hughes reckons we would get 10,000 for that game, but it's only 20% likely to happen.
I am sure others can tell you more, as I turned up late and wendyball blaring out from the other side of the door.
Oh yeah..one more thing. I predicted to Darth at 91 minutes that Barca would score.... and Paddock chirped up with a catalan song

With Hecks injury situation I guess he would have to be one sadly. I dont think there is another I would be OK to see leave.

Much as I thought. There will be lots of trouble ahead for us with Martin Pariah around.

Lets hope everyone is happy at the end of the season then

Good news and a big call by BM. I guess he's seen a few top players when they were at the 'early stage' of their career.

Sounds like a change in direction which will please many. Hopefull Paul will bring about some improvement in crowds now

Surely we are not passing up on a 10,000 crowd just to avoid a clash with skolars? Let them play as a warm up game and give them some cash

| I have to be careful what I post on the subject of the CC/Bradford game as I have already had my collar felt on this one.
I don't know exactly what the benefits would be to London Skolars in keeping their "identity" and therefore getting 1,500 fans roll up when compared to the possbillity of a full days training with the Quins set up, a share of the takings bigger than the revenue they would achieve in north London and the exposure they would gain from the marketing of the game by the RFL/Quins.....but I have it on good authority, that they are very proud and protective of their friday night festival thingy.....
Also, we did absolutely decimate their crowd on the Sunday of the Manly Game.
The flip side is the "heritage day" in march attracted 637 people......not exactly what you would call a bumper crowd I have nearly that many people on the facebook group
I disagree with the Stance taken by the Skolars, but understand why they are making it.
Like a lot of things I post on here....the CC eve game seems like a good idea, but not to everyone unfortunately

| Good news on the playing side of things. But is it just me, or is there very little evidence of them actually presenting strategies that will be implemented off the pitch, rather just suggesting they are still talking about it and things might be done in the future in sometime once a "relationship" is forged? Strikes me as a lot of hot air at the moment.

| Given the on-field catastrophe that's the present Skolars' team (makes Geoff Fletcher's old Huyton side look SL quality!), ignore them. If the RFL and Bradford are happy with the CC eve idea just get on with it.

| @ 10000 at that game. 0 chance.
Mark my words, hardly anybody attending the Challenge Cup Final will be interested in attending this match.

| my worry would be Offiah. he is the agent for Will Sharp as well as Tony Clubb and a couple of other youngest on our books. from the way people have been talking and of course the rumours, it was alot down to him that Worrincy moved on with the promise of he be better of at a bigger Club like the Bulls. so would he try the same BS on the likes of Sharp and Clubb.
We need to tie down the likes of these two and LMS. Who Wigans fans would love to see there along with IL i think. But also this kid Thomas (Offiah his agent as well) who someone said was a good player and had the look of a young LMS about him.
About Worrincy i wonder if Bulls fans would love him so much, if he hadnt been able to get in the Squad with the likes of Morrison and others hadnt been out injuried for so long.

Yup, it`s just you Dave...........not quite sure how you form such an opinion in relation to things said/discussed at a meeting that you did not attend?
I know we have had promises and strategies in the past which may or may not have been implemented or successful, but management will never please everyone and we can only support them in trying to get things right on and off the pitch.......by having the forums, at least it demonstrates the fans have a voice and they are prepared to listen.
Couple of key issues........management recognise that the seating and ticketing arrangements are a mess, including the non-communication between ticket office and stewards........in an effort to resolve current problems, be it away fan seating, Quins fans with guests etc, they are going to continue to try new arrangements until they find the best compromise.
They are forming an improved relationship with Mark Evans/Quins RU, focus will be leverging off their existing marketing regime/systems to boost crowd numbers.......it was indicated that this was already rolling. Future marketing will likely include special ticket offers, theme days etc.
Contrary to popular belief, rumour, RL message boards, financially we are ok.......sure we don`t have wads of surplus cash, but we don`t have any significant debts either.......Saint David Hughes is picking up the tab wherever necessary. I did not fully understand/hear the explanation in relation to IL`s investment, but it would appear that this is IL`s issue to resolve.......it did not seem to have any major ramifications to our situation.

I formed an opinion off what others have posted with regards to the forum. Your post is far more interesting though, and good news
