| I'm with Jools on this one. One player, however good, is not going to suddenly make Salford a side to be feared - they should already be fully respected, as any Super League club should be, but we should have nothing fear except ourselves.
We seem to be trying our best to find ways to lose at the moment - and thankfully failing at it - but sooner or later that will catch up. I think what PA said after the last game says it all - imagine how good we could be if we could keep hold of the ball.
Until we stop dropping the ball and giving away daft penalties every game we play is going to be a very nervous experience for us lot!

| Lunt still out and kaufusi still fails to get back in the squad. Ferres named and may play depending on how he goes in training Friday.
Locke and Caton-Brown in the Salford squad.
looks like Kooky - err sorry Harris, is after the win rather than "saving" Locke to pull in the crowds at home next week.
Could be an interesting contest between the sex offender and Broughton - with both having pace as the main feature of their game. Broughton needs to show who's boss! - Murphy had the measure of him. Surprised to see hock as it sounded as if he'd be off for a bit after coming off against Wire last week.
Giants:-
Scott Grix, Jermaine McGillvary, Leroy Cudjoe, Joe Wardle, Danny Brough, Luke Robinson, Eorl Crabtree, Craig Kopczak, Brett Ferres, Jason Chan, Chris Bailey, Michael Lawrence, Larne Patrick, David Faiumu, Ta’ai, Kyle Wood, Jodie Broughton, Anthony Mullally, Josh Johnson
Salford:-
Ashurst, Caton-Brown, Chase, Evalds, Fages, D Griffin, J Griffin, Hock, Johnson, Lee, Locke, Morley, Puletua, Rapira, Sa'u, Tasi, Tomkins, Walton, Walne
Referee: Robert Hicks

| As a Salford fan I'm pretty sure that Home advantage will see you through on this one. We've not clicked yet as a side for any length of time, but have shown glimpses of what we can do. We are due to click at some point and put a complete performance in. Whether it's this week is anyone's guess. Regardless of results, Harris has really changed the attitude and especially defensive frailties we had earlier in the year. It's not perfect, but it's getting there. We're definitely not as poor as the table suggests.
I'd be highly surprised if Locke plays. He's in the 19 but I think he will sit this one out, and make his debut at home against Hull. Young Evalds will probably play FB and has been fantastic there so far since coming in. Caton-Brown will probably make his debut against you however.
I think you'll have too much for us this week, but I think it will be tight. I can see a very close affair.

| As Salford are most likely safe from relegation they don't have much to play for, therefore I think they will hold back from playing Locke simply so they can push massive promotion for the home game next week!

| One of our bogey sides - along with Wire. Salford always seem to up their game against us - and can be dangerous when they spread the play quickly. Did that at away game earlier in season but let themselves down through dropping ball or trying miracle balls.
Hope for a C&G win but we will need to match them at their expansive game rather than battering up the middle. Should have too much for them especially at home though.

| Table suggests this should be a simple win.
Looking at the team sheets I'm not confident.
Watching our performances I'm not confident.
Our record against Salford doesn't make me confident.
With the way we are playing we are either due a solid performance taking a huge step forward OR our ball handling skills and penalties we give away will finally catch up with us.
I think we'll win this one but on skill not hard work.

| I will be coming to the game tomorrow from Salford. Please can someone tell me if tickets will be on sale at the game, or do they need to be purchased in advance? Also, which stand is for the away fans?
I am really looking forward to it. I think you'll beat us, but with any luck we can make it a competitive game.
Best of luck!

I've got my ticket and it says the Britannia Rescue Stand turnstiles 25-31, ticket was £21!
Can anyone tell which is the best pub to go in for away fans someone tells me it's the Turnbridge?

I'm not sure about one for us Salford fans, but my favourite pub in Huddersfield is definitely The Sportsman - absolute belter of a pub and the food is great.
