In fairness, if he did break tackles as well as carrying out 35+ tackles a game, he'd be playing in Super League.

He is a big fella and am certain is hard to tackle but like i said i don't seem to understand his game especially when i see Hilly bursting through tackles all the time, now i know they have different styles but out of the two i know who i would want in the team every week ,and this is not getting at Bibey in any way

Gives us a quicker play the ball than any other of our front rowers, allowing a quick thinking dummy half to catch defenders off-side and move us up the field further. Also has good ball handling skills. Don't have a problem with Ricky personally, adds another dimension to our front row options.

I think if Leigh didn't have Tommy they may of kept Jimmy but Goulden is a work horse, tackling machine that is good in attaack too so I can understand why the decision may of been made to release Taylor but good luck in the Future mate I had some good games against you at Miners

Where does it say that he has been released? Nowhere, as Leigh have not officially said who have been released or retained as of yet.

AFAIK he is still on contract until the end of 2011, with a bit of luck our Dave will be having a word with Basil tomorrow for the Journal, and don't let this get into an 'I don't get the Journal' tirade please, then again I suppose we haven't had that one for at least five minutes.

Taking a drive isnt always about trying to smash through the tackle with 6 men hanging off you every time. Big Frank does this at Fax, which is why he manages about 15 minutes a game.



It's also about a quick few yards, not getting put on your back, and playing the ball quickly. Bibey does this for 60 minutes week in week out.

The more Leigh lads the better in my book and I'm looking forward to seeing the development of Sam Hopkins, Jon Pownall and Anthony Nicholson next season.
