I'd stick Duffy at halfback and have Durbin and Jock sharing hooker. I don't think we can rely on Jock to do 80, if things aren't going well we need someone to freshen things up off the bench.

Indeed he played at half back away to Dewsbury in the cup (possibly even alongside Hartley but could be wrong?!) - I suggested one of the threads earlier that McCarthy would be an option if he's available.

Duffy to 7. McConnell at 9. Bring Durbin in if fit enough and ready to play. Nicholson probably too young and inexperienced yet to get a go, but I will trust Basil's choice. This will test us.

Would explore all possibilities of McCarthy playing alongside Riddy before bringing Durbin back. He'll get owned down the middle.

Rolls looks fit enough to play to be honest but I think there is more chance of me playing then him, now there is an idea I may not tackle anyone but even Fax fast men will take an age getting round me

do you not think its time to reavaluate our dual regs lads, mcarthy not played many games, now injured, emmitt awesome, so good in fact back in saints team, mitchell seemingly back in favour with smith at wolves, and blyth injured, surely we should be looking to replace 1 or 2 of these players, no good having dual lads who don't actually play, just a idea.
