I like Durbin at 9 scooting and supporting. What are our younger halfbacks like? I havn't seen any reserve team rugby.

Too young Eccleston is only 17 and Charie Story is about the same age (or not much older)

Never seen him play there but hasn't Stanton played in the Halves, for his previous club?

Bad news is this. Robbie has been fantastic at organising our attack this season. I think it needs to be a straight swap for Durbin. He can then defend out wide and Jock and Duffs have been fantastic at hooker all year - if it aint broke...

it's the one position where we haven't got an OBVIOUS back up isn't it ?

though we do have a FEW options who could play there, I'd go for Duffy, or Durbin, even though Jamie has only 'subbed' at Bradford so far this season (1st team)

with out DC's available & Hartley being injured Durbin has to play scrum half surely. Duffy can't play 80 minutes so I'd imagine it would still be Jock & duffy at hooker

yep. i'd pick Durbin for the 'nippy/quick' side, or Duffs for experience.

He's played a lot more than Durbin has. And its not absolutely necessary to have 2 hookers. We could just let Jock play the full 80 he's been playing well, send duffy to scrum half and just have a massive bench. Could McCarthy fill a half back role if he's available?

Is my memory playing tricks but of the small number of games McCarthy has played in wasn't one he was named at half back?
