We got away with a lot also but I think Batley had the lions share of the lucky calls. How can you give another six tackles to a side that kicks the ball straight at a player who has turned his back to the kicker. That really had me thinking. Thought beswick was absolutely outstanding tonight. Had an immense game, infact they all did! Brierley on one leg is still the quickest player on the pitch.

Awesome from 1-17, proud as punch after that. Well done to ryan on his hat trick but I have to say I think ridyard was fantastic tonight, he kicked batley to death. If we get a couple more players back from injury we really could take some stopping. We could be in for a really strong end to the season, bring it on.

Some great performances. Tommy Goulden ran himself to a stand still, Tom Spencer is impressive in attack and defence and is not afraid to front up and what can you say about Ryan Brierly that has not been said already. Class.



To be honest all 1-17 were outstanding.



Unfortunately I will miss the final as I will be in Turkey, but I will have my Leigh shirt on that day and hope to catch it all live in a bar somewhere.



However I hope as many Leythers as possible do make it over to The Shay to get right behind the lads. They deserve it.
