we could use the updated version from the film gladiator( centurion connection). thats pretty inspiring music

This is were we need an 'Anthem', blue moon, never walk alone, etc, are played just as the teams are coming out it lifts the home crowd straight away and puts fear into the opposition.

I'd love this one as an entry theme.....and as it finishes - just before the ref blows - you tag on Russell Crowe saying "At my signal - unleash Hell!!"



I'd also like to see the opposition enter the field to the theme from "Steptoe & Son"......always used to make me laugh at HP did that one!!



And whatever happened to those little 'indents' they used to play when we'd scored? "It's Over" (Roy Orbison) for a successful goal-kick - and "Lets have a look at the old score-board!" (in a fake Brucie style)....just to rub the oppositions nose in it when we were leading!!

Hi Ho silver lining is a great one for the crowd to join in with during the game & i suppose it could work for the entrance of our team, or what about Fat Boy Slim ( no i don't mean Matt

) & Right Here Right Now

I like the Fat Boy Slim one. Not sure where we would start it.

Best bet is to just play the intro bit and then just as it kicks in play Hi Ho Silver Lining. IMHO.

I'll contact the club asing for Hi Ho Silver Lining if people think it's a good idea, if you really think about it the famous sporting songs are never very good anyway:



You'll Never Walk Alone & Delila are dire, but get a few thousand people singing it and it's a different story. So why no Hi Ho? It worked in Blackpool.



I never thought i'd sing that song that loud, in public.

Matt the music in question is called (Entrance of the Gladiators ) it still makes me shiver with pride ,for me its Leighs ONLY ENTRANCE MUSIC , Leigh were once nicknamed the Comics also , as for Clowns I LOVE EM
