I think if things do not go barrows way i would love to see Des Johnsons reaction.Think he needs to calm down calm down.Maybe he needs some scousers to control his heart rate?

I was in the box with Des and he was apoplectic with rage. He had a few choice words to say about some of his players too, but in saying that, he's good company to be in - I'm just glad it wasn't me who had to face his wrath.

i'd sooner have a chairman whose cool calm & collected when making important decisions not someone who see's everything through a red mist.even though it might be fun sat at the back of him laughing while watching him lose it.

Des "Cob-on" made a complete t*t of himself to be honest - just came across as being childish and a very sore loser - he gave us absolutely no credit whatsoever for giving them a hell of a game (which we bossed for 60 minutes) and blamed the result on Barrow not playing to their full potential!



No class whatsoever - very unsportsmanlike.



Basil was not impressed at all - I'll tell you one thing, I bet he gets the boys well fired up for the return leg in July!

Not many teams play to their 'full potential' when the oppositions forwards bully them around the pitch.
