We are now in a situation where the TV company is dictating the league composition. This has got to be against the sporting laws of this country. Won't be long before SKY get rid of Red Hall and the RFL will be based in London at SKYs head office.

If it was true ? , and the source is dubious to say the least , it would be a very good deal , far too good to turn down



It does however beg the question , if 2 SL matches a week are worth £ 42 million a year , how much is 1 Championship match per week worth for a season ?

I thought the 'RFL' had been based in Middlesex for some years.

Indeed all the important decisions effecting our league setup seem to be made at that location





On a serious note I wonder how long it will be before SKY say 'we feel we could get more viewers if the top Rugby league and Union teams merge to be called Super Rugby' (or suchlike).

Surely a million quid for the each of the 3 years is what it would be, not 3 million quid a year

As I said , a ' dubious ' source , what I do find funny is , I have no problem if SKY was to fund the Crusaders to keep them in business , but can you imagine the reaction of some SL clubs fans ?



I have no doubt that at this moment there are ' some ' SL chairmen ' praying ' that they go out of existence , would they ever admit it ?

I love the way that some posters on here keep believing that RL could survive without the Sky money.
