tbh if this rumour is true it isnt the end of the world gleesons contract runs out this year its pretty clear he doesnt want a renewal might aswell cash in now goulding is a decent prospect but has time and although i dont like mathers he will provide cover for fullback as reardon might not be available even when fit

Mathers was good when he was at Leeds! So good infact he got a NRL contract and im sure Tony Smith will get the best from him again. Lets not slag him off too much before we have even seen him play for us

Its been clear for a long time Gleeson always planned to move. I just can't seem to work out why to Wigan? Surely he would like to challenge for trophies, a return to Saints is probably firmly shut but Leeds could well be losing Lee Smith to Union, I surely thought Leeds would be in there along with the vast majority of NRL clubs. So one wonders why Wigan... ££££

Maybe he wants to end his career at a club that is his home town? It was strongly rumoured that he wanted to sign for Wigan after he had left Saints but because Saints didn't want to directly involve a move with Wigan they sold him to Warrington.
