Imagine trying to rush from work and travel to yorkshire on a Monday evening or Vice versa!!!

Great news as long as the Home and away teams are close together wouldn't fancy going to London Bronquins or what ever they're called this week on a Monday night same as their travelling 10 fans wouldn't fancy the trip up here !

I just want to chill after being in work Monday after the weekend and then back on Tuesday, this idea is nuts, but whats worse nobody contacted any season ticket holders to ask for their opinion.

Unfortunately that's the problem of a monopoly which Sky has over RL. It can dictate how things should be.



I'm grateful for the money they plough into the sport but they can't please everyone I guess.

Totally agree, I miss most of our Friday night matches due to work commitments as it is so I am really wondering if it was worth renewing my season ticket at all. Lets hope its a one season wonder!

Leeds V Saints 1st match on 21st May.

I guess we won't know until it's been tried, but ignoring matches with the usual intense rivalries, I can't imagine attendances not taking some sort of hit.



Seems to be pretty unpopular with the vast majority of fans though.

this is the point Sky want you at home or in the pub watching their adverts and their channel, THEY WILL pick games that are not local deliberately.

In many countries this sort of thing would result in some sort of boycott. Football fans are constanty screwed over by the authorities and Sky but club rivalaries prevent any kind of action. Rugby League is different though and it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect fans to come together and express their dislike of this idea.

Not too sure about the chances of a boycott, but wouldn't surprise if it only lasted a month or so due to suprisingly low turnout.

This simply rectified. Just don't watch sky sports on a monday night. They'll get the message.
