| Quote billybradshawsmum="billybradshawsmum"Looking at Salfors stats, Fitzy is in the top 4 for more than half the stats, look at Jeremy Smiths, he is TOP in errors made & missed tackles'"
It's difficult to compare statistics like that though becase they do different jobs and do a different amount of work. According to official stats Fitz has missed 9 tackles (don't know if that includes the 3 misses in Leuluai's try on Friday as seperate ones) and Smith mas missed 14 - but Fitz has only made 19 tackles to Smith's 108 - so Fitz is currenlty missing about 1 in every 3 tackles, to Smith's 1 in 9 - and they tend to be costlier when a fullback misses. Equally, you'd expect a half bak cto touch teh ball more than a fullback, so, again simply looking at handling errors alone could be misleading.
I'm not sticking up for, or slagging either player here - just saying stats are not definitive. I'd suggest that both players are currently out of form.

| As Iain says it is difficult to compare, personally I think both have made too many basic errors.
Fitzy keeps letting the ball bounce, he needs to adjust his game to the injury, I think he underestimates just how much pace he has lost.
Said before that Smith is like a small dog always 3 or 4th into the tackle.
Let Stef have a go with Myler, even if we lose by 50 he will be getting experience.

i agree, ratchford deserves a chance in his favoured position, if myler can play that well in superleague ratchford surely can imo, they could be a deadly combination, well more than the MYler-Smith partnership any way

| First off can anyone advise what is wrong with Henry ?? Cant believe that we have had to play him out of position all year cos of injuries for him to now be injured when we get some wingers on the park !!!!!
As for the team this will, arguably be the strongest we have had this year so no excuses, unless White & wilshire pull up lame in the first 5 mins !
FB - Fitz.
W- McGilvray & White
C - Littler & Wilshire
HB Myler & Smith
FR - Cash Alker Stapleton
SR - Adamson Parker
LF - Swain
Bench Lulu, Sidlow, Ratchford, Paul
As for tactics etc it seems from what I see at matches and on here that we need to give our fr row a bit more time on the pitch and stop making so many subs at one time which disrupts play.
Either way with people on the pitch who can finish I am more hopeful for Sunday. Whilst not criticiseing any players I would say we could have had several more tries had White started the season.
Here`s forever optimistic, hopefully reality won`t spoil it too much this weekend
