Haven't had too much last minute heartbreak at Wigan. One that sticks in the mind is Iro scoring late for Stains to win the match on Good Friday 99 at Central Park.

Eagles were winning 24-10 but was clawed back to 24-20. Our defence had been awesome, and we seemed to spend the entire second half defending, every time we got the ball we seemed to drop it on the first tackle. We held them out and held them out...until in the last seconds it's lobbed out wide and it's try time in the corner. 24-24. Fortunately they missed the kick but I was still gutted.

2007 Reserve Grade Grand Final at Stadium Australia. Norths in the lead by 1 thanks to a Joey Williams drop goal. Parra turn down a penalty kick from the sideline with 1 min to go. They score on the last with 5 seconds on the clock to win.



The sheds after the game were deathly quiet. An event I'll never ever forget.

I'm with spooky on this one defo tony stewart who came up with half the touch line imprinted on his head, i'm sure someone will argue against it and i'm betting tim joinkers name will be mentioned next.

For us, the other week we lost to Dewsbury in heartbreaking fashion. We where ahead 31-30 with one minute to go and they kick a drop goal making it 31-31. They race back for the kick off and we kick the ball straight out on the full, the hooter goes. Dewsbury kick the ensuing 80th minute penalty to win 31-33. =[

That's brutal, I'll give you that. Your player who kicked it out on the full must have been devastated.

Aye he was, it was just one of those things though. The fact we are still on minus points just makes it that much more painful =[

Not a try but Terry Matterson's goal line conversion at Central Park in 1996, pretty much cost us the first SL trophy as we drew to the London Bronco's.

There was also the last minute try when Martyn went under the sticks at the JJB after he had claimed he hadn't knocked on by the video ref, if that was now it wouldn't have been given.
