Nick Scruton scored a cracking prop forward's try v dewsbury.



He had four defenders holding him just next to the line, he crashed to the floor with them all on top of him and managed to get the ball down

5 metre run, next to the sticks, defence coming back all in disaray, though there was the hint of a sidestep past one defender.

That wasn't a sidestep, he just lost his balance a bit?

I know the union only speaks for two thirds of the front row, but I'd like to have some guidance on a something I saw at that there Harlquins on Sunday. On at least three occasions I saw their entire pack, including props, [ipushing[/i at the scrum and I'd swear I saw Danny Orr (who as we know is only a cheeky half back sneaking his way into the front row on the grounds of age) actually hooking.



Should I welcome all this as a return to fine old traditions – or be shocked at suspected contamination from their 15 housemates?

Andy Coley scored an acceptable try on Sunday - 8 yards out, after a battle of brawn eventually took 3 defenders over the line.
