Why are people obsessed with 'Magic Weekends'? I'd go if Sheffield were in it, but I probably wouldn't watch any of the other games. Similarly, how many 'neutrals' would turn out to this when most of them can't be bothered for Challenge Cup matches because they have to pay an extra couple of quid?

Quite correct HL, 2 games is about the limit most would watch, and even then it usually when something fairly serious ( GF / promotion ) is at stake
But of course we should all want to be like SDL fans

It's more meaningful fixtures in a structured fixture list without weekends off that Championship 1 requires not one or two day gimmicks which would fail to get the support where-ever it was held. If you have ever been to the Championship play-offs you will have noticed how the crowd goes up and down for each final as fans come and go from the pubs to see their own team play. |

No he's suggesting you could hold a multi match magic type event for Championship clubs in a 3,000 capacity stadium |

Are we given a "wad of cash", or do we sell the broadcast rights to our competition in exchange for it like every other elite competition in sport tries to?
It's not something for nothing. Its a revenue stream just like any other. Get over it. |

I'd say 400 was a tad optimistic , and SL fans tend to care little about watching lower tier RL unless its free on the TV , so 3,000 would be ample |
