His career could have worked out very differently. I know for a fact that in 1995 he was offered to Hunslet in exchange for Richard Pachniuk. Luckily for Saints fans he couldnt agree terms with the Leeds-based outfit and the deal was off! Pachniuk went on to finish his career having never pulled on a SL jersey and KC progressed to become a Saints hero with his own statue!

The last time I saw that at Odsal, for a player who had no connection with the club (actually it was the only time) was for Billy Boston who was cheered both onto the field and off it at the end. Though Keiron has been a great player, and for what it's worth, yes I would have been very happy to see him in a Bradford shirt, in all honesty he's no Billy Boston, so I just can't see it happening. |
