| Quote crusading leyther="crusading leyther"Sour grapes from some tonight. TOUGH! We are in the playoffs and we deserve it. Shame you guys have missed an awesome night in Wrexham. No one's spoiling our party! Cru Cru Crusaders. What a team! What a season! Doesn't matter what nationality, creed, colour or sexuality - those players have played their hearts out for the Crusaders and Wales. PROUD to be an ENGLISH Crusader!'"
Love it. I can deal with bitter angry fans all day. It's brilliant, because it means that we are doing something right. Crusaders played by the rules, and in their second season, have knocked "heartland" clubs out of the play-offs.
Can Castleford show me where all of these promising british players are in their team too? And i mean in the first team, not the reserves. As our reserves are pretty damn stocked with welsh talent.
Hey ted is in here, laters ted you loser. Same to you broster, you are still a joke, and poor old gaslight. Who resorted to slagging off the crusaders when he noticed that we might have a franchise over them. Thanks mate, see you next year mwhahahaha!!!

| Quote Gaslight="Gaslight"What irks me most about Crusaders is the fact they dropped the young Welsh FB (who is a good player) for Schifoske who's like 40, that Welsh prop, Flower is it? looked good against England and didn't get a sniff this year, why not play these lads instead of signing Aussies who are 30+?'"
The young fullback may be a good player but i've seen Schifoske play for Crusaders this year when they played down here against us.
He has a lot of skill, he will teach the young fullback alot while he is at Crusaders.

You are the perfect example of a johnny come lately rugby fan. No perspective for what "heartland" clubs have done in the numerous years they have existed before your plastic charade of a club has flitted from one end of wales to another. Yet again, the 2 lowest crowds of the week were Harlequins and the nomads. Viva expansion. Enjoy your one extra game this season.

+ Brett Ferres is from Cas, as well as other English players: Kirk Dixon, Michael Wainwright, Ryan Hudson and Steve Snitch, Paul Jackson
Have all played first team this year, most of them getting regular game time, then there's probably one or two I forgot somewhere.
That leaves Chase, McGoldrick, Sargent (who's going home), Widders and Evans (oft injured, probably getting released) as overseas.
Next year Cas trained Danny Orr is back + Richard Mathers, Jake Emmitt and Nick Fozzard (rumoured) to be in bringing in more English players with only Youngquest coming in for the quota.

You missed off John Davies from your list, who has played this season, and Billy Harris, who has just been given a full-time professional deal too.

I asked for first team players, not players that have played 20 minutes off the bench in a call up. God you heartlands teams love doing that. Ah yes, Johnny from down the road played the last 10 minutes of game 2 in the season. Bringing through the youngsters see, it's a bit of a farce really.
Welsh Players, playing in the crusaders this season.
Elliot Kear - played early in the season, looks to be a lock next year.
Ben Flower - played in a number of games this year
Gareth Thomas - played most of the season before injury
Lloyd White - first call up in injury to half backs
Luke Dyer - played all season
Jordan James - played all season
Anthony Blackwood - Now transferred
Rhys Hanbury - Will be Qualified as welsh
English Players playing for the crusaders this season.
Tommy Lee - played in every game he was able too
Jamie Thackary - same as above
Peter Lupton - played in every game this year
The crusaders, for what everyone says, are not full of aussies. Yes we have a large majority of australian players, because we need them. The scorpions are 99% welsh, and made the play-offs this year. Couple of them look very promising for up and coming years.
We have yet to name any signings, but it looks like stuart reardon is on his way.
and fan of st helens. Are you blind?

Are both Aussies, no 2 ways about it if we go for "qualified as Welsh" then James Evans doesn't count at Cas because he's "Welsh"
