Halifax 2003 conceded 43.82 a game and lost by an average of 31.25 points per game

London 2014 conceded 45.8 a game and lost by an average of 29.6 points per game.

Leigh 2021 conceded 40.5 per game and lost by a average of 25.2 points per game



Fax 2003 and London 2014 were both worse than Leigh CURRENTLY are. Wakefield and Huddersfield are both paying for nothing but pride and I can't see either of those sides scoring enough points against Leigh to change this by seasons end.



Interestingly, Bradford in their last SL season shipped 36.4 points a game...one try better than Leigh this year

I don't personally choose to pass any comment on Leigh this year or their specific results, but I would doubly not want to do so on the day we got completely bent over. I don't crave the rather pointless outpouring of scorn that comes with that sort of approach.



I presume the Leigh v Rovers match up was made with the intention that they would be competitive with one another on the table and on the pitch. Most of us would have liked that to have been the case, and it's only retrospectively that it looked like a rather anti-climatic way to end the weekend.

That comment is a little over my head I must admit. But in any case, had we not had a Covid issue and a few injuries, it's quite possible that we would have still only kept them to near 40. They are in a different class to even a full strength Bradford.

It was interesting given a bulls fan was trying to rip a leigh fan and yet Bradford were just as poor in their relegation season. If not funny, maybe ironic......but still worth noting as any fan of the bucket shakers should really be keeping to themselves and not drawing attention to the fact that they are in receipt of more Favours and money from the rfl and rugby community as a whole than any other club in the games history.

Remember when the head of the RFL decided to buy Oddslum? You know the guy....he's chairman of the club now......

it just seems crazy to me that a club joins the party late and is still expected to be able to compete, factor in that leigh were given less money and it just gets crazier. Id switch that around.

Give the promoted team at least one years grace, even two - they cant be relegated - that keeps some of the others on their toes too, then give them MORE money and a slightly bigger cap so they can entice players away from the more established teams.
