As posted on the Trinity forum. It's a shot to nothing for the club. If the stadium doesn't come off they're out of SL anyway regardless of numbers. If they do get it and other's don't then they are in a strong position to retain their license regardless of numbers.

not crazy if you are 100% confident that the stadium will happen, big companies like Yorkcourt dont flash millions about buying land on a gamble

Dont forget, teams like Leigh and Widnes have grounds built, the others have been fibbing about plans for years

Still not right, I'm usually proud of my club but IF true I'm disgusted - not that they care what I think.

To be fair councils like Wigan and Halton have grounds built, the teams were just the beneficiaries, although with Leigh I’m not so sure they feel they have benefited with the move (starbug will no doubt correct me if wrong).
