...also which clubs are going to release their players for three games either during the season or at the end? It's not practical and even if it was it still fails to address the fundamental issue of intensity with the ESL.

What about a West vs East game? Split the league down the middle and colour one red and one blue maybe?

In theory it sounds good but we as a sport are just not big enough.

Plus to make us look less parochial we'd have to be West v East, it still wouldn't generate enough interest so we thrown in a Foreigner in SL Xiii, 3 teams. Will the jonny foreigners be interested ?

Then we have to fit it into the calender.



It won't happen is basically the long and short of it.

I just think the clubs would pull players out and no-one would play at 100% in case they got injured, it would be counter productive as it is the intensity we need. The only way to reach that intensity is improve SL year on year and keep playing autumn internationals.

Concentrate on dragging the Taffs and Frogs up to standard and play mid-season internationals, it's our only hope.

The only way there would be any intensity is if it were the end of season, no one would risk getting injured if it was mid season, which would also apply to beginning of the season.
