Most English fans will tell you the same . We don't pretend that SL is perfect .

Why does one need to be better than the other? If you're a real RL fan can't you watch and appreciate both? I know plenty of soccer fans that watch English, Spanish, Italian and German games without having to bicker about which is better, it's the same sport which you should either like or dislike regardless of the country or standard of play.

having spent a year in australia, 6 months in manly i used to go and watch them back in 1997 there was'nt doing that good but will always remember beating the broncos on a friday night...as for the nrl shirts a while back a started collecting at least one shirt from every team its costing me a fortune but im to far into it now to stop.....

was cliffy lyons playing for the manly sea eagles when you saw them live. manly won the grand final in 1996

if i remember right cliffy lyons was brought back into the team later into the season . i remember drinking in the styne and cliffy,beaver, and geoff toovey was in there and i thought they was superstars (very good blokes and a good laugh)....the only reason i left was i could tell something big was happening at my hull kingston rovers and could'nt miss out.....only kidding i only had a year visa and it was up...for what its worth best yr of my life
