Theres probably others that will come through the ranks and push for a place in the squad as well but I think our strength in depth is improving all the time and the future is looking quite good. Scrum half could be an issue if Eastmond goes to RU and I still think the 3/4 are not brilliant but theres a lot of young players coming through in these positions. What do you think? Who else do you expect to push for a place?

If Eastmond leaves, I'd push McGuire to scrum half. I think that's where you see the best of him.

No Luke Robinson on that list?

Broughton (Salford) for wing - was considered last year. I'd like to see Luke Adamson considered in a train on squad.



Not sure Holdsworth would ever count as English even with the bizarre set of rulings that seem to be available!

I think he is a good player and did well last year but I think when fully fit there is quite a few players ahead of him at both hooker and SH.

Robinson proved he could do it at international level, keep him in till he cant do it.



Maybe Brough can be pursuaded to play for England again...
