Pleased to see him tied up for a couple of years. It should be enough time to develop him further at FB too. He isn't the the finished article quite yet but I am sure if he continues to work hard then he can be pushing for a spot with England.

Assuming, of course, that he gives up playing for Wales.

Platt had done nothing to suggest he was worth a 3 year deal, and it is bizarre that he was offered one, on the plus side it seems that McNamara has finally come to his senses and realised he shouldn't be first choice at full back but, to be honest, I don't think he's been any worse this year than he was last.
