I expect Wakey, KR and Widnes to be three of the teams. Can't decide on the 4th. Anyone who watched the widnes V Wakey and Cats V Wakey must have seen how awful those games were. A confident championship team has a chance. Don't forget the top two teams in the championship also get 4 home games from the seven. Odsal would get big crowds to watch us play Wakey, KR and say Widnes + one other.



What do people think the points will be for say 3rd -auto promotion spot - out of a possible 14 points. I am guessing 8 points. Four wins = 3 championship teams + Wakey or KR or Widnes. That sounds possible to me.



We may as well pack it in now if people don't think we have a chance against the bottom SL clubs. Wakey are already signing average players for next year.

Think their under misapprehension that to be promoted you HAVE to come top of the 8 team mini league and don't grasp you can come 5th and still go up by winning 4th v 5th playoff. If journalists who cover RL regularly like james deighton don't understand it yet then theirs not much hope for more casual fans.

I think you, and a few others in this thread, are getting a bit ahead of yourselves here. Widnes have just beaten Warrington last week, and until last Saturday Wakey were on a 5 game unbeaten run.

Nobody has any idea how the finished 2015 squads will shape up, or who will end up in the bottom 4 of SL / top 4 of SL2.



To assume we will be in with a shout come the end of 2015 regular season is just setting yourself up for a fall. We've barely even been relegated and some are already talking of beating Wakey to get back up!

You are aware Wakefield haven't had to sell all their best players at the end of this season ? Which is a novelty. Natural progression should at least see some sort of improvement, I expect Cas to drop down to their normal level (below Wakefield) after the exodus of all their key players.

At least the Bulls won't be battling against relegation for the whole of next season (hopefully), not like some of the clubs in SL1. It'll make a pleasant change.

That is impossible THIS SEASON because theres 6 from SL1 but only 2 from SL2 in that list. Next season as you say is another issue.
