| I'm sorry but what's the soure on this?
We already know that Caisley is trying regain control of the club and got a nice article in the T&A about doing that when the pledge was making good ground. I view this as another attempt to derail the pledge and stop people fulfilling what they've told the bulls.
If the bulls were really losing £100,000 a month how is the debt so low and my view is we'd already be out of business.
Also apart from saying the bulls need to come clean what on earth has Mr Sutcliffe done, absolutely Nothing....as he been in touch with the club yet, as of a week ago he hadn't. He's seen an opportunity to get his name in the paper with some free PR and taken it.
Sorry guys but there's a battle going on for the hearts and minds of supporters and this probably isnt going to be the last revelation that comes from the T&A, I just wish they'd be a bit more objective.

If the board would be more honest and clear about the situation then any (claimed) lack of objectiveness wouldn't be an issue.
Though six years of everything being someone else's fault suggests that will never happen.

| And which sports team does Bradford's heroic last Labour MP support?
That's right - Manchester United.

Whilst accepting that all politicians are self serving and rarely give a fig about their constituents until a vote is needed he makes a very valid point.
I would suggest the least the fans deserve from the board is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth especially after pledging £480k of your hard earned money to save their business. It's not like it would put anyone off being interested in the club as they would find out the warts and all through due diligence anyway.
Personally, I think the board of directors are treating you like a bunch of mugs and should be ashamed of their whole stance throughout this mess.
If they really put up surety of 10 times the value of the overdraft then they must have been prepared to risk such surety. If there is such a surefire plan to make the club work after this immediate cash influx then why weren't they willing to realise one tenth or even one twentieth of their surety to get to that situation. Where's that supposed commitment now ? Why didn't they pledge the final 4% rather than extending their own deadline to let you stump up some more.
I think it stinks, notwithstanding the fantastic efforts you lot have gone to. You should be very proud, I just feel that this is only the beginning of a long story.

Hindsights a wonderful thing Asim, something CC may think as well after the Harris debacle. I'm not sure the club have said everything is someone else's fault, they've absoloutely made mistakes and given their time again might do things differently.
The issue for me here is another story in the T&A which will have a detrimental affect on the pledge, for me it's nailed it's colours to the mast pretty early and looks like its being fed stories.

| I'll give Peter credit in that after todays game he had time to answer to all my questions, with open honest replies and not once did try lead me astray with any BS.
Unfortunately I'm still of the opinion that

| Quote Asim="Asim"If the club is losing £100k a month there really is little hope going forward without any big new investment - whether the pledge money is raised or not.'"
Hopefully the T&A confused accounting losses and cashflow.
If we really are losing £100k per month pa then we are in deep doo doo, with no realistic way back.
Its possible that we "just" have negative cashflow of £100k per month. That would be consistent with what we already know, that once the pledge pays off existing debts we still need £500k to pay the bills until the end of the season. That would partly be a consequence of receiving all the season ticket money at the start of the year. Serious but not as bad as a accounting losses of £100k per month.
