I'm really pleased for the guy. I hope his confidence is much improved and he receives the backing he needs from MP. Salford at home next, hopefully we can kick on and get a decent result next week.

Yep, how refreshing to have a pair of half-backs! They do a particular job each and compliment as a pair very well.

Slight overexaggeration mate. Kearney is a better 1 than Royston all day long for my money. But agree about Herbert, doesn't deserve to walk straight back into the side, he has to earn it.

Presumably a good coach is going to incentivise his players by keeping them in the team when they play well unless the returning player is a world-beater. No disrespect to Herby (will he EVER go Bananas?!) but he isn't a superstar so should be on the bench.

Fair enough. IMHO, Besides pace, BK doesn't bring anything that Royston doesn't and Royston is a lot more dependable

might be a bit of a risk but what about herbert on the bench as a ball playing loose? just a thought , but when everyone is fit is he good enough to be in the squad?

Addy has more potential at loose. Plus, Langley is undroppable. Herbert doesn't get in the 17 next week for me, no-one deserved dropping. Halley in for Raynor.

Looking forward to Addy coming back. Will be a good option on the bench.

yeah, i forgot about addy to be fair , i think a big difference today was that our pack was alot heavier than what it has been recently .... with elima, sibbit, langley , as opposed to donno, whitehead, olbison ....big difference in experience and size there and i think that should be our back row and use the younger players more sparingly ..but yeah like you say herbert to miss out keep bj and briggs together see if they can form something
