Because he's the only one we have on the pitch atm that's got a real tactical rugby brain.

tbh think newton will come back to bite us next year but I feel we've made the right call in not offering more than a year. would rather he went while he's still playing at a decent level rather than watching him decline like we're currently experiencing with deacs.

Think we've got a potentially very good replacement in l'estrange. Watching leeds wcc game he controlled game very well and gives dome speed round the ruck, which is something weve missed for a while.

Well you're entitled to your opinion. I think he is overrated by some on here and I think we will cope without him. I've been impressed with what I have seen of L'Estrange, but we do need to recruit some quality at halfback.

I think that is spot on, and will be the main factor on how our season goes next season. Centre is second in line aswell.

Weve not seen the best of Newton in a Bulls shirt IMO, good luck to him though he will give 100% every game but has a tendancy to make a lot of errors and a lot of forward passes.
