No. Obviously at home we'd be wearing white with a redvee but away we could easily wear either a home kit or an away kit, being red with white vee:

Even if you belive Wellens is better than Sykes, Wellens is still very very slow which was the point of the my post.

Wellens may be relatively slow but he is brilliant defensively and do you seriously think we are not going to need someone who is brilliant defensively when we face the Aussies?

If we base it on his performances in the World Cup then, no, don't need him at all.



His lack of pace was cruelly exposed last year and it would have been again, whether he is sound in defence or not.

He was good against New Zealand, I think it was, until injury made him leave the pitch. Our whole defensive structure fell apart at that point.





I agree (no choice really, since you speak a truth!). In a sense I'm glad he is not there because I wouldn't want to see him exposed in that way again, given what he's done for the club over his 10 years with us.

Yes we do, but that person needs to be able to run to catch the person he is supposed to be tackling.
