ohhh i didnt half have a little cry to this, im going to have to take some tissues with me on friday night!!

I can't handle all this. I actually had to stop watching that video half way through before I started welling up. We've had some emotional times losing some great characters over the years, but losing my favourite player of all time and our home in the same season will be the most emotional I've felt at Saints. Friday will be fantastic yet awful at the same time.

I don't want to leave.





I love that roof leaks, that the scoreboard goes on the blink during inclement weather, that the paint is peeling, that the 'toilets' are just a brick wall with no roof, that the beer is served from warm overpriced cans, that your view is restricted from much of the pop side because of the huge columns holding the place up.



It's a source of amusement for rival speccies, and I love that too. It's a hole, but it's OUR hole where we keep years and years of amazing memories.



I've tried to put a brave face on, move with the times, see it as progression but I absolutely love the place. I've grown from boy to man there and it's unthinkable that I'll never again stand on the crumbling terraces to cheer on my team.

Who thinks they will really cry at the final hooter on friday when we say goodbye to KR and maybe KC ?

I think that's the difficult thing for a lot of fans. My Dad has been going to KR for 65 years from when his Dad first took him and sat him on the wall (having lifted him over the turnstile to get him in for free). Because it has been around for so long there are a lot of people who identify very strongly with it as part of their family culture. I remember sitting as a child in the back garden at our home in Eccleston while my Dad was at the match, hearing the noise of the fans when we scored a try and the groans when the opposition scored. So even when I wasn't at the place, the place was there with me.

I've welled up at the last 2 games, and also at the open training session.

Similar to Wilderspool, it's a dump but it's our dump, you'll blubber and when the whistle has gone and the players have done their rounds and most have left, you'll look round and say "I'll miss you old girl, we had some good times, we had some bad but i wouldn't swap them for anything"

Im not a person to cry, the only times i think off as me crying as a sdult is when my two kids was born.
