I normally find Neil really funny with his half time game and joke, but what he did last night was a step too far and could have incited trouble from the Bulls fans. If the shoe was on the other foot and it was at Odsal, we had put a run together like Bradford have and their announcer started that song and pointed at us to call us sad Saints ba**ards and a sh*t rugby team, we would have been livid! Thought it was a bit much and he could find himself in trouble again.



Also, it has been mentioned elsewhere but the booing was totally ridiculous. We have played sensational rugby recently and surely everyone realises we will hit a bad patch at some point. It might be now, or it might be later in the year. We had a very bad day at the office yesterday but all credit to Bradford who fully deserved the win.



The 'die, die Newton' (again mentioned elsewhere) is embarrasing. After witnessing the shocking Westerman injury last week, I completetly find this chant disgusting and I know it's probably no-one on this board and there's probably no way of stopping it but it really is awful.



We should just lock yesterday away in a cupboard somewhere and concentrate on playing the pies next week. I can't wait for the Magic Weekend and am really looking forward to chatting to fans from all clubs about our great game. I think we will bounce back next week and claim a victory over the Pies.

Bill Arthur actually spoke about the fans singing that and also cheering when solomona went off.

We will never stop a small minority of fans singing that, my Brother in Law is relatively new to the game (first game 2006) and asked me why they were singing it, when we explained why his response was "time they got over it then"



But they are probably the same idiot who were booing at the end of the game.

They didn't cheer when he went off, they cheered when he went down, a bit like Bradford and Leeds fans did when Maurie went down in their respective games, and also as Wigan fans did when Leuluai hit Maurie.



It's part of the game - if the fans see someone seriously injured the reaction is different.

Give it a rest ... the guy is there to entertain at H/T not to make friends with all and sundry .... You lot sound like the PC brigade on coke, all hyped up and nothing better to do
