When I was doing driving instructing, a pupil who had just passed her test said to me to hang on a minute when I dropped her off. She came out of her house with a whopping 12 inch home made fresh cream victoria sponge!! I took it round to show my wife at her place of employment. I then went home made a mug of tea and ate half of it!! Didnt want it to go off now did I!



Some instructors get a bottle of something - me, just make me a cake! Now I no longer teach driving but drive a wagon. Currently delivering to a certain supermarket chain and there is nothing better than going onto the shop floor just before closing and grabbing a few cut price cakes so I dont get hungry.



My youngest daughter love making cakes - she regularly make them for her mates birthdays - I encourage her to practice regularly! When I find the lead I will post some pictures of her efforts - before they got eaten!

Going off topic to chocolate bars....There is a new chocolate bar called The Big Race which is something to promote the Olympics I think, 3 for £1.20 in Tescos so thought I'd try it, bloody lovely!!! It is chocolate, wafer, chocolate creme and lumps of crunchy biscuit....yum!!!

I went pass this posh cake shop today in town. It must cost quite a lot to dine in they!
