I've got one too. I'm not overly fussed but it is a bit out of order.

The email address I have registered for this board is specifically not given out to anyone who I think might use it for marketing purposes. I have another email address for that.



I have, in the past, had to abandon email accounts because they have become swamped with spam emails and I really don't one this one going down the same route.



For any ADMIN's that read this, is there anything that I can do to prevent Catalan Sports Tours selling me email address on to a 4th party and why was my address given/sold to them in the first place?

Send a PM to Mr SS.com or someone like.

Might just do that.

Come to think of it, all 3 of my registered email addresses have one, even when i changed my email address on one account.

It's no good being the richest man in the graveyard fella. If the only reason you can afford something is because you leave the money in the bank every time you think you can afford it, then technically, you can't afford it can you?!





I haven't fallen for any spin?? I know full well that the cost is so high as to hopefully cover the cost of the trip. What's wrong with that?? I don't think it's a masquerade at all. In fact if you read previous post carefully I pointed that out long before you did.

I've heard it's a great trip - if you can afford it then why not.



You can get a much better deal doing it other ways, but why the abuse if you chose to do it in style?

Do you drink Neil?? I'll assume you do. Do I call you "stupid" for drinking Neil? Do I tell you that having a pint should be compared to throwing money down the drain?



My only quarrel is being called "stupid" when me going with the club is no different to you having a pint. (i.e. in that one of us is spending money on something the other would consider wasteful).



I am not asking you to come with the club, nor am I trying to convince you travelling with the club is a better option. I understand it is expensive, I understand there are cheaper ways to go. I (me, personally, this person sat here) enjoyed it last year, and I (me, personally, this person here again) would like to do it again next year. I'm not trying to convince you that you'll enjoy it, I'm not trying to say "my way is better than your way".



All I am asking you to do, is have a valid and legitimate reason for insulting people, and to respect my decision to travel with the club, just as I respect your decision to spend your money on beer.



(Which just out of interest, is money down the drain in a far more literal sense than travelling with the club).

When I buy a pint I get something placed before me that is now mine, I get a refreshing beverage, so imo that is not throwing my money away.



You have been served 2 pints.... One by Mick, your average pub landlord. The other is served by Gary Hetherington. Mick says thats £2.50 please. GH says thats £4 please. But because its GH that has served you it, you happily pay him with a buldge in your trousers.



I know what your saying and I suppose going with the club does indeed add a touch of class. But I'd much prefer to browse around and what I save buy more beer when I get there

I've decided this is the last I'm saying on the matter because you're clearly not intelligent enough to grasp it. You do realise that whilst other posters may not agree with my choice to travel with the club, they do understand the point I'm making so you're just making yourself look ridiculous by replying with irrelevant retorts??
