They pay their money and can support the team or not however they wish for me.



Our team certainly dont need glory supporters...............I'd say a prop forward is far more pressing as well as a decent creative centre and...................

Hahaha. I changed the channel in a fit of rage and went into the kitchen. After about 10 minutes I was over it and invited my mates round.

I foresaw our dread full performance so left directly after the first verse of Abide With Me.

I have attended a similar amount of games to you . Add in the Lazenby Cup game , and a trip to York (both were colder nights than the Wrexham game ) , and several others .

I ALWAYS stay to cheer the team off regardless of the performance or the result , BUT , I left just after the final hooter . I didn't have much choice though . I didn't know where our coach was parked .

I paid for my ticket , so it was entirely up to me when I left the ground , or even wether or not I attended the game at all .



This time I went a few minutes earlier than I normally would . Does it make me just a lightweight bandwaggoner for doing so ?

Was talking to a family member of one of the Wire players today and she said that the fighting was caused by Wire fans . She also said that after the game she was sat in her car (wearing Wire shirt/scarf etc) and some Wire 'fans' were screaming at her through the windows that she was 'fkin scum' . You really couldn't make it up could you .



*edit..... Just chuckling to myself at what would have happened if Garreth had walked over to get in her car . The looks on their faces would have been priceless , but they were probably so drunk they wouldn't have even recognised him .

I could quite easily have left at half time.

Sadly I found quite a number of their fans to be very 'bad winners' both outside the ground and at the services on the way home. Some were a bit aggressive. A shame but I suppose we can let them have their moment.



Some of them didn't seem to realise however that I've watched enough Leeds no-shows in finals over the years for it to be water of a ducks back by now.

There were some real s on our row. They were Shorpe fans as they were singing about the iron.



They were taking great delight in goading Leeds fans and one of them bared his backside to a lad who could have been no more than 14.



The same one took offence to being elbowed in the ribs as he goaded a Leeds fan as he left. Thing was he did nothing until the Leeds fan had departed down the steps. He then took his shirt off and made to go after him before sitting back down.

How's yer elbow ?

Some "fans" around me were booing at half time and saying " Thats it we have lost " obviously not been to many games and watched us snatch victories when behind, I did stay to the end FWIW

Most of the ones I met were ok . Shaking hands and drunken hugs etc , but there were quite a few that for some reason wanted to have a go . I'd say that Saints fans at GFs are much better behaved .

I'm sure TVOC will have the stats . I think we have been quite good at getting late wins in recent years . Many's the time when I have had to call mates that left early to tell them that we won .
