I don't think Diskin had such a bad game last night. He was defensively sound compared to most and distributed the ball to those around him who are supposed to be pivotal ballplayers.

I thought disco played well last night! though mcshane did some good things but his passing out of dummy half was very slow, not quite up to the speed of the sl game but more first team action will improve that! didn't think disco did anything wrong really! It was all the dropped ball on the first and second tackle, some with the line begging. the bombed chances: jp, senior, mcshane chip to clarkson, jjb knocking on the bomb with nobody infront of him with support on both shoulders. The poor kicking game, the lack of building pressure near the opposition try line, lack of repeat sets and trying to score of every play near the line. poor set plays with no dummy runners, people stood still getting the ball.

Could have added Amor's tackling technique and Coady being a turnstile in the first half





All in all Disko did a decent job!

Not been funny. But were you watching the right player? The play from dummy half was far quicker and crisper with McShane. It was also very accurate passes. Unlike what we were getting from Diskin throughout the match, who basically played exactly like what you have desribed above.

Neither bears any relevance to us signing Buderus.

I know it doesn't. I thought this thread had gone into the two hooker thing, and then whether Buderus should play or Diskin.



Well without Buderus there Diskin put in his worst performance of the season. So was that because Buderus was not there? or Inspite of him not been there?

What if we don't agree with your premise that Diskin was woeful because, like Sgt Wilko, I don't agree. Where does that take your question?



That said, this thread is primarily about the wisdom of the Buderus signing and what good he does the team. That you think it supports the Buderus signing to highlight yet another game that he has missed because of injury simply shows that the coach journey your brain departed on some time ago has taken you further away from common sense that ever.



BTW, although you don't realise it you've actually hit upon something that supports us "Budreus Critics". A hooker that came off the bench and actually change the pace of the game and made a difference. Sadly the poor lad was only given 10 minutes for some baffling reason. That said, McShane's display shows even more why the Buderus signing was completely unnecessary and a waste of money.



Still, fingers crossed that the legend from Australia might just be fit enough to play a game in blue and amber next week so our fans can fawn over him eh?

I hope he's fit next week not fawn on him but for mine we are a better team with him in the the squad.I feel at the moment he's only playing at 70% of his capabilities which hopefully with more games under his belt will improve that stat.
