Last years traffic situation may have been worsened due to the game being on a Friday night. I hope so anyway as last year the busses were emptied on the M621 for fear of missing the game. Not wanting to be stuck on a bus going back we walked as it had briefly stopped raining! That didn't last for long......

A genuine thanks for all the constuctive advice. I decided in the end to take my car based mainly on the fears of traffic stopping us getting to station by bus and my dodgy knees making it a really difficult walk from the ground to the station. Didn't think I could risk it with my lad having to get to school on Monday morning.



Trip there and back was absolutely fine with very little traffic on the M1. Thought it was a really good game - dissappointed with the result but thought Manly were excellent - great hands, speed, power and vision and we certainly didn't disgrace ourselves. Clearly there is a skills & ability gap but nor so huge that we can't compete.
