There's a decent little museum in Cahors dedicated to the resistance, SOE and the deportations either as forced labour or to the death camps. Haven't been for a few years - in the late 90s there were still aged resistance fighters that called in regulalrly during the day and enthusiastically greeted any British that visited - but will pop in again in the summer.

We visited Roses, briefly, when we played there in February t'other year. Looked a nice spot to be honest.

i wasnt planning on the rain thing! Havent paid for luggage on the plane so 10kg hand luggage all we have, not a great deal if your packing for rain.My experience of summer in south of France is that it ought to be warm enough for shorts regardlesss of it raining.Ibis central will be full by the looks of the posts on here, hope theyve ordered enough beer in!
