My house gets targeted quite a bit because of where my dad works. The van has been broken into several times and they parted with some metal. Worse is when the house gets broken into because that means I get my laptop nicked which has everything that I’ve wrote stored on them.



I’m sure it’s someone off of the estate because they always seem to know when we’re all out.



My dads boss gets broken into a lot more though

We got done whilst we were away in Thailand on a family holiday. I don't know what was worse, coming home at midnight from Heathrow to find the place a mess and stuff missing, or the hike in the insurance premium that resulted from the completely honest claim. The renewal after the claim was 300% higher than previously, and even that was after we had originally been refused insurance, until my wife (who had worked in insurance) told them they were legally obliged to offer to insure us as if they decline no one else will offer either, meaning you can't get insured.



The 5hitheads that steal from you are bad enough without getting kicked in the nuts by the insurance industry for something that's not your fault...

Hard luck. Its time that electrical products were able to be immobilised which would cure the problem. Better still would be to set it to give an electric shock with a photo sent to your mobile.

An ex-workmate got a taxi to Leeds Bradford airport for a holiday. Then realised he'd forgotten the tickets so got another taxi back home. Discovered the first taxi driver robbing his house. Something to think about the next time you get a taxi to the airport.

The thieving little sods should be made to read every word of it!

Does that mean we should think about giving a bigger tip or none at all!

Yeah, I reckon if a nudie photo of wheels was stuck in the window, that should be enough of a deterrent to any burglar.



Be aware, the little scrots have an annoying habit of making a return visit 6/8 weeks after their last, coincidentaly just as you have spent the insurance cheque on nice shiny new things!
