| For once, Mick isn't making a bad point. If you like your live Rugby League, then £60 isn't a bad deal. When you take off the £20 we're all going to pay to watch Leeds play there, it's only 40 left. If I had the spare cash, I'd consider it.
Plus, for all the laughing, getting Bradford back their feet would be good for the game and good for us. Those full house derbys were always good.

| Is it good work or desperation by Bradford?
As a fan I would be more than happy if Leeds offered me a season ticket for £60 but that's 10'000 fans paying less than £5 per game all season, how are Bradford going to function on that kind of money?, I'm sure it's a well thought out plan somewhere along the line.

| I might buy one, sell a ticket to a visiting supporter from each team for £10, double my money, good business.

Except its a card. Nice try.
I guess the reaction on here is to be expected, especially since its Gledhill posted it. Funnily enough, neutral opinion generally has been extremely favourable. And TS, yes it is a well-thought-out plan. They know what they are doing. Its primarily about dramatically increasing attendances, and attractintg lapsed and wavering fans back. It also dramatically increases the market database info on previously walk-in fans Three of us had a scheduled meeting with the CEO and Marketing Director yesterday lunchtime, and be in no doubt this is no act of desperation, but one of the first manifestations of major positive changes within the boardroom and the club. My guess is that proper Loiners will generally see this as a good thing for the game, and the fekkwittery will of course deride it. Has been the same on our forum when the roles have been reversed.

| Wait a minute. Bulls are asking for 10,000 fans to promise they will buy a season ticket before mid October. You can do this via the Bulls website. By the sound of things they will only be 60 quid if 10,000 'promise' to go ahead and buy one. Saying your gonna buy one then actually going out and doing it is 2 completely different things...!! What if they get the 10K promises but only 7K actually go ahead and buy one?! Financial loss?

Fair point. Bulls are making it clear people are entering into a contract, and will chase up any defaulters. Bradford folk are of course, as all the world knows, totally honourable, and so any tiny handful of renagers will of course be totally ostracised and bought a Huddersfield season ticket. Or will receive a personalised visit from the CEO accompanied by a several large members of the first team... In fairness, who in theri right mind would renage on a pledge for an offer like this, without good reason?
A similar scheme for Bradford City proved extremely successful and few people renaged.

| Then they pull the offer. You dont get your £60 season ticket but they get your email address and send you marketing info/spam direct to you.

A very astute observation on the class distinction between proper Loiners and Rhinos fans.
Keith has already made his pledge and hopes it's going to be a resounding success.

Are they? All I saw on the website was general contact details, no boxes to tick no t&c's nothing that will stand up against any legal action surely.

Pull the offer after selling a few thousand and realise there not going to hit the 10K as 'promised'?

It's a fantastic offer and I've no doubt plenty of planning has gone into it Adey but will the fans who pay £60 next year come back and pay full price 2012 if things don't pick up on-field.
All in all It's hard to criticize the Bull's for doing this and best of luck too them, I would certainly be interested if I had more spare time on my hands.
