Well they've allowed Brent Sherwin to join Les Catalans so I guess the Rob Burrow to Castleford rumour must be true.

Tbh I've always liked Burrow however the way things are going at the min I think I prefer Sinfield and McGuire as the half backs. Not just because the 2 half backs are combining better but we have a bigger pack with Ablett or JJB playing loose forward. Against Warrington and Bulls the added power proved too much, and they both have pretty darn good packs! BUT I dont think you can tell Burrow to pack his bags after Sinfield and McGuire have had a few good games together...wait to see how long the partnership is successful for and see how the team plays when Burrow returns.

I've heard rumours that there will be several players leaving at year end and Burrow will be one of them.



I hope it's not true. Burrow is a quality scrum half and has been an integral part of the last few years successes.

Rumours, rumours and thrice rumours. Isnt this thread getting like the one not so long ago about people being unhappy at Headingley? Rather than start rumours, I tend to talk to the dog - it works to a point but he wins as he can bark louder than me. I have also heard such rumours , but given Leeds recent reluctance to make wholesale season end changes , I would be surprised if there is more than a couple of departures , would be even more surprised if any of these are contracted players .

Leeds have managed to keep so many players together over the years, something has got to give sooner or later. Most will feel they've been there and done it and you cannot blame any of them for wanting a different challenge. Sinfields GF speach ( G1s sig) was probably very true, most will sacrifice a few quid for those special nights but after you've got 4 GF winners rings and had those wonderful experiences surely some of them will think its time to grab that few extra quid before they retire.
