| Quote tad rhino="tad rhino"the saints team from the last couple of years would have hammered the giants, given the amount of ball the giants dropped today.
leeds are not the only side to have gone backwards this season'"
disagree
hudds defence was superb and they produced some fantastic set moves and clinical finishing to take their chances.
Saints from the past few years would have lost just like they did today.

oh that was Sean Long I was trying to figure out why they were interviewing one of those annoying town centre charity collectors.
Also good to see that Eastmond has been learning from Pryce when it looks like you are going to lose start limping and try and get taken off

I disagree with you. We would have passed out wide and Longy would have killed you with kicking, possibly with Wilkin and Pryce chipping in.
Leeds and Saints have both slipped back. That's clear to anyone watching both teams play this season. Where Leeds have the advantage over us is they still have the same core team and the same coach as they did last season so I think they'll still pull off the Grand Final. We, however, will not because we have a team that hasn't been the same for two matches together this season either due to Potter's piddling about or injuries. We are going to get nothing this year which is difficult to take but most Saints' fans expectations are far lower now than they were at the beginning of the season.
Today Huddersfield were great. They deserved their win, without doubt, and I was congratulating their fans after the match. However, they dropped some ball and even at the outset of this season, there is no way we would have let them get away with that. Which is another reason why Huddersfield wouldn't have won this match if it had been played during the last three seasons.

| Last time stains lost in the semi, they won the hub cap and failed to get to the Grand Final, not quite like the past two years when they didnt show up in the Grand Final or were they just outplayed by the better team, who again, were the underdogs???
As for the last time there wasnt one of the Big Four in a Chalenge Cup Final, erm..... TVOC!!! HELP!!! I think it was the Hull KR v Cas in the 1980's. exact year I'll have a stab at 1985 before our friends from Central Park took over.

Correct.
1984/85 was one of my favourite seasons and my favourite neutral Challenge Cup final, 28 - 24 to Wigan but what a great game.

Who knocked us out in 84/85?
I remember been at Swinton in the semi the year before against Widnes and Hull KR the year after at Elland Road.
